Due to a very unbecoming outgrowth of a former undercut hairstyle, I’ve decided to biohack my hair into growing at the speed of light. Here is a post on biohacking and hair supplements. I have no way of knowing precisely how quickly my hair usually grows, but a rough estimation is a centimeter a month . Anything more than that, and I’ll consider Long Hair Project a success.
Today, I’ve started taking MSM, biotin and zinc. I made a cup of delicious, ketogenic hot chocolate to mask the sulfur-y, truly hellish taste of MSM. It’s fine to heat up the MSM-powder, but you shouldn’t boil it. Here’s the recipe:
- Hot water
- Coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons of kakao
- A tablespoon of butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon of MSM-powder
Embarking on the project, the shortest parts of my hair is seven centimeters and the longest is 58 centimeters. In a few months, I’ll know whether the supplements are doing me any good or if they prove to be a waste of money.
